As a kid I spent many evenings in my fathers optical shop. While my parents were working long hours, I used to play around with old vintage glasses, acting different characters with the different frames.
I never thought I would end up being an optometrist myself, but here I am, with a good ten years in practice and running dad's old shop. Time really flies. Looking back, I guess eyewear has always been part of my DNA.
One spring afternoon at the shop while going through some old boxes, I stumbled upon those old vintage frames I used to play with. Still in good shape! This time I looked at them with different eyes. All the handiwork, attention to detail and timeless minimalistic design. Damn they were good, they just don't make them like that anymore.
A spark was lit and soon the first outlines of a collection was drawn, one without compromise - an homage to craftsmanship.
